Site Survey and Data ManagementOur Rapid Responder software and Professional Services team allow us to collect critical data and develop all-hazard emergency response plans. Rapid Responder assists facility stakeholders and emergency response personnel to act quickly, decisively and safely during a facility-related emergency incident. Rapid Responder is already been deployed in thousands of schools and facilities across the country, preparing and protecting students, teachers, school administrator, staff and first responders. We employ a specialized approach to the data collection process that results in a very high level of efficiency in processing site data. Personnel involved with data collection are functionally separated into three teams: field site survey specialists, data entry specialists, and internal quality assurance staff. Prepared Response, Inc. also employs project managers, schedulers, and content management personnel to support the data collection process. The first step in gathering information involves data collection and the “digital mapping” of a facility. A Prepared Response Professional Services team visits the venue, meets with the staff, and collects existing evacuation plans, police and fire tactical plans, facility floor plans, mechanical schematics, etc. These are later scanned and entered into the Rapid Responder system. In addition, a Prepared Response photographer takes more than 200 digital photographs of the exterior and interiors of the building. These are not “pretty pictures,” but operational photos that will aid SWAT teams and others dealing with tactical situations that may occur during an emergency. Prepared Response’s highly experienced photographers know what’s important to first responders, such as door swings, hidden exits, evacuation paths, roof details, and specifically photograph various shots of those areas.
