Training

Prepared Response Inc. and Community Safety Institute (CSI) have joined forces to create a Critical Incident Management Consortium. The Critical Incident Management Consortium (CIMC) training curriculum offered by Prepared Response, Inc. is a joint effort of Prepared Response, the Community Safety Institute, and the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs. CIMC offers customized training in multiple national safety initiatives, including Bio-Emergency Management and the National Incident Management System.

The nationally-recognized training curriculum offered by Prepared Response serves as the foundation for multiple national safety initiatives. For example, CSI and the National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA) partnered with the Department of Justice Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (DOJ/COPS) to produce an innovative, citizen-led program designed to assist local law enforcement agencies and emergency responders in collecting and disseminating local information for community preparedness. This initiative is a community-based training and database development project designed to provide emergency responders with crucial resource information. The training curriculum designed for this program has been incorporated into other training courses taught by Prepared Response.
