Our systems are designed to aggregate disparate information from multiple sources and securely distribute it to key stakeholders.

Rapid Responder consists of a secure master database, a Web-based administrative interface and an emergency response interface that can be accessed in a stand-alone format or a Web-enabled format. In both formats, the information is managed in a highly secure environment for both content control and distribution to end users.

Secure Access and Administration

Our standard product is accessed and administrated with a browser that is secured with 128-bit SSL encryption. The stand-alone application delivers content to remote end users utilizing XML encryption. In the stand-alone implementation, content resides locally on the computer’s hard drive and can be password protected depending on the organization’s security policies.

The system architecture includes a number of hardware and software security processes and appliances. For custom implementations, customers may also elect to enhance security of this system through addition of n-factor authentication using technologies such as access protocols, tokens, biometrics, typing analysis, and customer specific network security technologies.

Access Via the Web or Standalone Remote Client

Rapid Responder is built around a Web-based production system and requires only a browser to access and administrate the content. This system is based on Microsoft Windows platforms featuring MSSQL Server database and Windows Server operating systems.

First responders and other personnel rarely have reliable Internet connectivity in the field. This “last mile” issue almost entirely negates use of other systems that rely solely on transfer to data from a WAN/LAN based server to the field. Rapid Responder has a remote client version that is easily installed on any PC-based computer. This allows field personnel to view their information with or without an Internet connection. Updates can be done by connecting computers to the Internet periodically for quick, automatic downloads.

PRI’s aggregation technology can be integrated with a wide variety of security and information services. For example, video surveillance cameras can be bridged into the system providing end-users with dynamic surveillance and event information. Users can identify camera icons on the screen, double click the camera icon, and then view real-time streaming video and sound from that camera. This bridging system can be applied to floor plans, aerial imagery, and other content within the Rapid Responder system. The technology can also accommodate access to IP-based systems such as control interface, alarm systems, and other sensors.
