Prepared Response Inc. Recognized as One of Washington State’s Fastest Growing Private Companies.

SEATTLE, WA – October 23, 2007 -- Prepared Response Inc., a crisis management company based in Seattle, has been recognized as one of the top 100 fastest growing private companies on the Puget Sound Business Journal’s 2007 Fastest Growing Private Companies List. Prepared Response placed 47th on the list.

Prepared Response was formed in 2000 as a result of the school shootings that took place at Columbine High School in Colorado in 1999. The company develops emergency preparedness and crisis management solutions for use by school campuses and other public and private critical infrastructure. Prepared Response’s Rapid Responder® crisis management system is a secure, Web-based system of critical building information and emergency response plans for first responders. It will soon be protecting all public K-12 schools in Washington State and a large number of other public infrastructure sites. Rapid Responder was used at a Washington state high school to quickly contain a gunman and evacuate 2,000 students in 20 minutes as well as other incidents. Rapid Responder is also being used in port facilities, hospitals, transportation centers, schools and other types of critical infrastructure in 10 other states.

In addition to being recognized on the list, Prepared Response was the winner of last year’s National Homeland Defense Foundation’s Focus on Innovation Award. Rapid Responder is also the only crisis management system to have been certified as a “Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology” through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s SAFETY Act. Prepared Response’s technology and services were also highlighted in the Harvard University and Noblis Homeland Security Award that was presented to the State of Washington in September.
